Betty Buckley has just completed filming a lead role in M. Night Shyamalan’s Split scheduled for a January 2017 release, and she had a recent cameo on HBO’s The Leftovers. Her triumphant performance in a new production of Grey Gardens at the Ahmanson Theatre in LA ran Summer 2016. Highlights of Betty’s 16/17 season include a re-engagement at NYC’s Joe’s Pub followed by a return to Feinstein’s at the Nikko’s in San Francisco.

Betty Buckley is one of only a handful of women who can be referred to as a real Broadway star and a true legend. She won the coveted Tony® Award for her portrayal of Grizabella in the original Broadway cast of Cats and has appeared in many shows, including Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard, both in London’s West End and on Broadway. She has acted in numerous films, starred on television and is a three-time Grammy®Award nominee. Buckley most recent recording project was with her longtime friend and collaborator, producer T Bone Burnett, to record Ghostlight, an eclectic collection of songs that once again showcases Buckley’s unique gift for interpretation.

“You leave few cabaret evenings feeling exhilarated after peering into the souls of more than a dozen musical theater characters, all embodied by the same singer… Both shows are master classes in how a singer arrives at the right balance of the self, the personality of a song and the character who sings it.”
Stephen Holden, The New York Times

“Hers is the finest voice in musical theater today. Betty Buckley’s renditions are definitive, moving and letter-perfect.” Entertainment Weekly

“…Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley)… is such a glowing star of musical theater, from Cats to Grey Gardens, that you might forget what a superb dramatic actress she is.” Rollingstone (Read full review here!)
